Gilly loves visiting places where people want to talk books! She is happy to present one of her existing presentations or work with you to customize an appearance for your group. Joint visits with her co-author, Kimberly Jones, can also be arranged.

Yes, I do charge a speaking fee; however, please reach out! I am happy to work within available budgets to customize a visit where possible.

My visits are generally most appropriate for middle school, high school, college and adults. I enjoy speaking to multi-age groups like guardian-child book clubs, youth groups, and community reads.

Each presentation is between 45 min to 1 hour. Visits with creative writing activities may run an hour.

We can customize the visit to your needs. Large groups like assemblies are welcome, as are small groups. However, please note that visits with creative writing activities work best for small groups of no more than 30 per session.

Please share my books and/or information about them with your students in advance, if possible. The visits are more personal and meaningful when kids come in a bit prepared. It’s also best to make an arrangement with a local bookstore that can handle book sales to the students in advance of and during the event. Let me know if you don’t know of a local store. Also, I will sign and personalize all books ordered in connection with the event.
